Initial Setup
After installation, configure the Typesense connection first.
- Go to Components -> JP Site Search -> Settings.
- Open the Typesense tab.
- Enter the Typesense host, port, protocol, and API key.
- Save the settings.
- Run the schema setup or validation tool.
- Run the first full index.
- Test search in the backend Search Test view.
Recommended first workflow:
- Configure Typesense.
- Run Schema setup / validate.
- Run Reindex all public content.
- Open Diagnostics and check for warnings.
- Test search terms from existing articles.
- Publish the frontend module or create a menu item for the full search page.
