JP CS jDownloads is a Dynamic Content Source for YOOtheme Pro that connects the popular jDownloads component to YOOtheme’s builder and template system. It lets you fetch jDownloads categories and downloads as structured dynamic content, so you can present files using any YOOtheme element — lists, tables, grids, accordions, and more — instead of being limited to a predefined layout.
In addition, JP CS jDownloads adds YOOtheme Template support for the most common jDownloads views, making it possible to style category overviews, category pages, and download detail pages with a modern, consistent design that matches the rest of your site. Manage downloads in jDownloads, design everything in YOOtheme.
Bring jDownloads into YOOtheme Dynamic Content
JP CS jDownloads exposes jDownloads as a Dynamic Content Source in YOOtheme Pro. This gives you direct access to your download data inside the builder, so you can design custom download layouts using standard YOOtheme elements.
Use Any Element, Not a Fixed Layout
Instead of relying on a predefined download list output, you can build your own layout using the elements you already use in YOOtheme:
- Tables for structured download lists
- Lists with icons and dividers
- Grids for download archives and resource libraries
- Accordions for grouped downloads (e.g. by version, topic, or category)
Dynamic Fields for Downloads and Categories
Connect dynamic fields to output key jDownloads data where you need it, such as:
- File name / title
- File link (download link)
- Download count (where applicable)
- Short description
- Category selection (single file or full category)
This makes it easy to build anything from a simple “Downloads” list to a full resource center with custom filtering and presentation.
YOOtheme Template Support for Common jDownloads Views
