Modern UIkit overrides for Phoca Cart modules

We’ve reworked key Phoca Cart modules to better align with YOOtheme and UIkit, improving both functionality and visual consistency.

Phoca Cart Cart Module

We’ve redesigned the cart into a compact single-button solution, similar to our VMuikit approach. Clicking the button opens a modal with the cart contents, creating a clean and user-friendly experience that has proven very effective in real-world projects.

Phoca Cart Search Module

Phoca Cart includes a solid search module. We’ve refined it to integrate seamlessly with the active YOOtheme layout, ensuring it respects your design and doesn’t break the visual structure.

For more advanced use cases, PCuikit also works great with third-party solutions like the AJAX-powered search from n3t.

Phoca Cart Filter Module

The filter module remains largely intact but has been adjusted to follow the active YOOtheme template. This ensures consistent styling and UI behavior across your site.

We are continuously working on overrides for all standard Phoca Cart modules. Since Phoca Cart includes many modules, this is an ongoing process—starting with the most essential ones first.

Can I use PCuikit on multiple websites?
Yes its free to use on as many websites as you want!
Do I need YOOtheme Pro subscription?

Yes, PCuikit needs Joomla, PhocaCart and YOOtheme Pro installed to work properly. You can buy YOOtheme Pro here.

What PhocaCart version do you support?

We have focused the PCuikit development with the new 6.x.x series from PhocaCart. This is the version created for Joomla 6 and this will be our focus also.

Its always a good parctise to have a copy of your eCommerce site for development where you upgrade and do some tests.

What PHP version?

We recommend you use PHP 8.3+ when you work with Joomla and PhocaCart.

What Joomla® version?

PCuikit 2 was created for Joomla® 5.x series and latest version 2.2 has been tested with Joomla 6 also.

What version of YOOtheme Pro?

ALWAYS use the latest version of YOOtheme Pro. We are writting cutting edge code here for their Dynamic Content system and its important that you use latest version.

PCuikit 2.1 we used YOOtheme Pro 4 (Joomla 5).

PCuikit 2.2 we used YOOtheme Pro 5 (Joomla 6).
