JP Joom2Static converts your dynamic Joomla website into a complete static HTML version. You can continue using Joomla to create and manage your content while publishing a lightweight website that does not require Joomla, PHP or a database on the public server.

The result is a website that loads quickly, can handle large amounts of traffic and has a considerably smaller attack surface than a traditional CMS installation.

Flexible static site generation

Choose how much of your website you want to export. JP Joom2Static can process selected Joomla menus or automatically crawl the entire website to discover and convert reachable pages.

Multilingual Joomla support

Static exports do not have to be started manually. A protected webhook can trigger a complete generation process from external services, GitHub Actions or CI/CD pipelines without requiring access to the Joomla administrator.

Apache and protected website support

JP Joom2Static includes an Apache .htaccess generator for common hosting optimisations. It can also access and generate a website protected by HTTP authentication by using the configured .htaccess username and password.

Compatibility and considerations

Current JP Joom2Static releases include support for modern Joomla versions, including Joomla 6 compatibility, while dedicated packages remain available for earlier supported Joomla installations.

A static website cannot reproduce features that require server-side Joomla processing by itself. Login systems, shopping carts, on-site search, submitted forms and some third-party extensions may require an external service or a separate integration. Complex scripts, embedded maps and interactive extensions should therefore be tested before the static website is published.
