Software license

Unless otherwise stated, JPro Studio extensions, plugins, modules and other software products are released under the GNU General Public License version 2.0, or a later compatible GPL version where applicable.

The GPL gives you the right to use, study, modify and redistribute the software under the terms of the license. Redistribution of original or modified versions must comply with the GNU GPL.

Subscriptions, downloads and support

A purchase or active subscription gives the purchasing account access to downloads, updates and support according to the terms shown at the time of purchase.

After a subscription expires, you may continue using the latest version of the software that you downloaded while your subscription was active. However, access to new updates, downloads and premium support requires an active subscription.

Product downloads are intended for the purchasing customer or account holder. Sharing accounts, download access or other methods that allow unauthorised third parties to download products from JPro Studio is not permitted and may result in suspension of download, update or support access.

Payments

Payments may be handled through supported third-party payment providers, including PayPal and Stripe. Available payment methods may vary depending on product, region or checkout configuration.

Copyright and ownership

JPro Studio products are copyrighted works owned by Norin Media AB, except for third-party code, libraries, trademarks or assets that belong to their respective owners.

The GPL license grants software freedoms for the code covered by the GPL. It does not transfer ownership of JPro Studio trademarks, branding, product names, logos, website content, documentation, graphics or other non-code brand assets.

You may modify GPL-licensed software for your own use, and you may redistribute original or modified versions when doing so in compliance with the GPL and applicable trademark rules.

Trademarks and branding

“JPro Studio”, JPro Studio product names, logos and related brand assets are trademarks or brand identifiers of Norin Media AB.

The GPL license does not grant permission to use JPro Studio names, logos or branding in a way that suggests an official connection, endorsement or ownership by Norin Media AB.

If you distribute a modified version of a JPro Studio product, you must make it clear that it is a modified version and not an official JPro Studio release. You should remove or replace JPro Studio branding, logos and product names where their use could cause confusion.

Copyright notices in source files should be preserved as required by the applicable license.

JPro Studio software is provided without warranty of any kind, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Norin Media AB is not liable for damages, data loss, business interruption or other issues arising from the use or inability to use the software, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Changes to pricing and terms

Norin Media AB may update product pricing, subscription options, discounts and these license terms from time to time. Any material changes will apply from the date they are published, unless otherwise stated.
