Indexing
JP Site Search uses scheduled or manual indexing. When content or source settings change, run a reindex or wait for the next scheduled indexing job.
Common indexing actions:
- Reindex all public content - indexes articles and all enabled sources.
- Reindex articles only - indexes Joomla Articles.
- Reindex contacts only - indexes Joomla Contacts when enabled.
- Reindex categories only - indexes Joomla Categories when enabled.
- Reindex documents only - indexes enabled document providers, such as DOCman, when external providers are enabled.
After schema changes or extension upgrades, run schema setup/validation and then reindex.
