We have released a new extension for YOOtheme Pro: JP Global Pagination.
The idea behind the plugin is simple: provide one reusable pagination solution for dynamic content in YOOtheme Pro, regardless of where that content comes from.
Instead of building pagination specifically for Joomla articles, WordPress posts or one particular Custom Source, JP Global Pagination works directly with YOOtheme Pro dynamic content. This makes it possible to add both traditional pagination and Load More functionality to a wide range of custom and third-party content sources.
Pagination for YOOtheme Pro Custom Sources
YOOtheme Pro makes it possible to build layouts using many different types of dynamic content. In addition to the standard Joomla and WordPress sources, there is a growing ecosystem of Custom Sources that connect YOOtheme Pro to extensions, e-commerce systems, directories, downloads, events and other structured content.
Until now, pagination has often needed to be implemented specifically for each source.
JP Global Pagination takes a different approach.
The plugin is designed to work with dynamic content sources globally, including our own JPro Studio Custom Sources as well as compatible third-party Custom Sources. This means you can use the same pagination solution across very different types of YOOtheme Pro layouts.
Traditional Pagination or Load More
Depending on the type of website and layout, you can choose how visitors should browse larger content collections.
- Numbered Pagination – divide larger collections into clear, traditional pages.
- Load More – progressively load additional items without leaving or reloading the current page.
This makes the extension useful for product listings, directories, downloads, events, article collections and many other dynamic layouts built with YOOtheme Pro.
Built for Dynamic Content
The important part is that JP Global Pagination is not tied to a specific Joomla component, WordPress plugin or content type.
If the content can be used as a compatible dynamic source inside YOOtheme Pro, JP Global Pagination is designed to provide the pagination layer on top of it.
This also makes it particularly useful together with JPro Studio extensions such as our Custom Sources for e-commerce, event management, downloads and document management, while still allowing the same solution to be used with third-party integrations.
Joomla and WordPress
JP Global Pagination is available for both Joomla and WordPress and is built specifically for websites using YOOtheme Pro.
As with many of our YOOtheme Pro extensions, the goal is to keep the workflow inside the builder as flexible as possible and avoid locking the website into one specific content source.
