We have released two new Joomla e-commerce plugins for YOOtheme Pro: J2UIkit Core for J2Commerce and HSuikit Core for HikaShop.
These new integrations continue the work we started with VMuikit X for VirtueMart and later expanded with PCuikit for Phoca Cart. With the addition of J2UIkit Core and HSuikit Core, JPro Studio now offers YOOtheme Pro bridges for four important Joomla e-commerce systems: VirtueMart, Phoca Cart, HikaShop, and J2Commerce.
A focused Core approach
The new plugins use a more focused “Core” model. Instead of adding extra custom elements, special product widgets, or separate checkout features, they concentrate on what matters most for modern YOOtheme Pro projects: bringing store data into the builder through dynamic content and Custom Sources.
This means you can use YOOtheme Pro to design product pages, category layouts, landing pages, featured product sections, and other store-related layouts while still using the e-commerce component underneath for products, orders, checkout, and store management.
For HikaShop, HSuikit Core gives you access to products, categories, manufacturers, prices, images, descriptions, variants, and other key store fields inside YOOtheme Pro. For J2Commerce, J2UIkit Core brings product, category, pricing, image, cart, and store data into the same visual workflow.
Why no extra checkout?
With VMuikit and PCuikit, checkout improvements have been an important part of the package. For HikaShop and J2Commerce, the situation is different. Both platforms already provide solid checkout workflows that work well with UIkit-based websites.
Because of that, the Core versions do not try to replace what already works. Instead, they stay lightweight and focus on the design bridge between the e-commerce system and YOOtheme Pro.
Four Joomla e-commerce bridges
This release is also a useful step for us as developers. We have worked with Joomla e-commerce for many years, and a lot of what we learned from VMuikit and PCuikit has now been applied to HSuikit Core and J2UIkit Core.
The goal is not to make every e-commerce system identical. They all have their own strengths and workflows. But from a YOOtheme Pro design point of view, the need is often the same: site builders want clean access to product data, flexible layout control, and a storefront that feels like part of the rest of the website.
That is what these bridges are built to solve.
New demo sites
We have also prepared new demo sites for PCuikit, HSuikit Core, and J2UIkit Core:
The interesting part is that the demos are intentionally similar. They show how the same kind of shop layout and design direction can be achieved across different Joomla e-commerce platforms when YOOtheme Pro is used as the design layer.
This also helps us maintain and develop the integrations more consistently. When we improve one bridge, our development setup makes it easier to bring the same type of improvement to the others where it makes sense.

This is a calm but important step for us. We now have a stronger foundation for Joomla e-commerce projects using YOOtheme Pro, and we will continue improving these integrations as the platforms develop.
