Introducing JP Agent Tracking Bridge – AI-Powered GA4 and Google Tag Manager Setup

We have released JP Agent Tracking Bridge, a new AI-assisted tracking extension for Joomla and WordPress. It helps website owners, agencies and developers configure and verify Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager tracking with an AI agent.
Instead of manually creating every event, trigger, variable and tag, you can describe what should be tracked in normal language. The agent can inspect the website, discuss the tracking plan with you and then perform the approved setup.
From manual configuration to an agent-assisted workflow
Setting up website tracking is often more complicated than it should be. Google Tag Manager changes over time, event rules can be fragile and testing a complete implementation across the website, GTM and GA4 can take considerable time.
JP Agent Tracking Bridge creates a controlled connection between your website, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and an MCP-compatible AI agent. This allows the agent to work with the actual website and tracking configuration rather than only providing general instructions.
You can use the bridge with AI tools and agent harnesses such as Codex, Claude Code, Hermes and other tools that support MCP servers.
Video Guide:
Describe what you want to track
You do not need to prepare a complete technical tracking specification before getting started. You can ask the agent to inspect the website and recommend events based on the site structure and its business goals.
For example, you might ask it to track:
- Contact form submissions
- Newsletter registrations
- Email link clicks
- Telephone link clicks
- Contact interactions with individual team members
- Downloads and important outbound links
- WooCommerce activity
- Other custom interactions and conversion events
The agent first presents its findings and suggested tracking plan. You can review the proposal, request changes and decide what should be implemented before any tracking rules are created.
Google Tag Manager and GA4 integration
After the plan has been approved, the agent can create the required website event rules and configure the corresponding tags, triggers and variables in Google Tag Manager.
With your approval, it can publish the updated GTM container and perform real tests on the website. The agent can interact with forms, newsletter fields, email links, telephone links and other selected elements to check that the expected events are sent through Google Tag Manager.
The bridge can also use read-only Google Analytics access to check whether events have reached GA4. Because new analytics events can sometimes take time to appear, Google Tag Assistant can also be used for immediate live verification.
A complete WordPress demonstration
In the video above, we demonstrate the complete workflow on a WordPress test website. The goal is to track a contact form, a newsletter registration, footer contact details and separate email and telephone interactions for several team members.
The AI agent inspects the website, identifies the relevant elements and presents a suggested implementation. After approval, it creates the tracking rules, configures Google Tag Manager and performs real interactions on the website to verify the result.
We also show how the completed rules and activity log are available inside the plugin once the work is finished.
Available for Joomla and WordPress
JP Agent Tracking Bridge is available as both a Joomla extension and a WordPress plugin. The core workflow is the same on both platforms.
The bridge does not require YOOtheme Pro. It works with YOOtheme Pro, Elementor, other page builders and custom Joomla or WordPress websites. The WordPress version also includes support for WooCommerce tracking.
You remain in control
The agent does not need permanent administrative access to the website. Starting a tagging session creates a temporary bridge that can be shared with the agent while the work is being performed.
Important actions remain visible and controlled. The agent can ask for approval before publishing the Google Tag Manager container or performing test submissions, and the tagging session can be stopped when the work is complete.
Built for agencies, freelancers and website owners
JP Agent Tracking Bridge is particularly useful for agencies and freelancers who regularly receive requests to add new conversion tracking to client websites. It can also help website owners who understand what they want to measure but do not work with Google Tag Manager every day.
The result is a more structured workflow in which the agent can help plan, implement and test the tracking setup while you remain responsible for the business goals and final approval.
