We have checked the same in the referenced site and found there is no sign of reported things it looks good only.

The custom medida input plugin uses its own css class instead of VM default class, if you want to make the input field uikit friendly override the custom plugin layout. You can do this by creating a template override for the plugin in your template folder. Thanks
