Custom display for Unit of Measure label/symbol in dynamic source

Hi,

When using a dynamic source (e.g. packaging), and enabling:
Show Unit of Measures
Hide Packaging Value
the value from product_unit is shown (like M, L, etc.).
Is there a way to display either the translated name (e.g. COM_VIRTUEMART_UNIT_NAME_M) or the symbol (COM_VIRTUEMART_UNIT_SYMBOL_M) instead?

We use several custom units like roll, drum, crate, bag, etc and our shop is bilingual. It would be great if we could display the proper localized version of these units to our users.
