Extra Related Products

Hello everyone,

VirtueMart has a custom field called "Extra Related Products".
The purpose of this field is to allow assigning additional, grouped related products.

For example, if you sell mobile phones, there is the standard "Related Products" field where you can assign similar phones.
However, with "Extra Related Products" fields, you can add groups like "Related Cables", "Related Phone Cases", "Suggested Screen Protectors", etc. — making it possible to create categorized groups of related products.

As far as I can see, this feature only works with the original admin UI, but not with the new one.
However, transferring the relatedProductsAutocomplete function from:
administrator/components/com_virtuemart/assets/js/products.js
to:
administrator/templates/vmadmin/html/com_virtuemart/assets/js/vmuikit_products.js
makes it possible to use this functionality in the new admin UI as well.

We really like using this feature, but currently, there is no built-in support for it in VMuikitX.
Would it be possible to add support for listing these "Extra Related Products" in a similar way as the core "Related products"?
