Steps to reproduce:
- Add a custom field with the type 'plugin/textinput.'
- Set it as a cart attribute.
- Choose the layout position as 'addtocart.'

In the category view, it doesn't work at all. It displays the input field, but regardless of what I enter, it doesn't affect the "Add to Cart" button. In fact, I don't necessarily need the "Add to Cart" option in the category view; a "Details" button for products with variations or inputs would be sufficient.

We have tested the same in our testing environment but it works good without any mentioned issues. Please share the login credentials of the site back end with "Super User" access and FTP so that we can check and give you a better solution. Thanks.

We checked the text input custom field add to cart functionality in the referenced site with VM default layout and found that the issue was present there as well. This means that the issue is caused by virtuemart, not by our extension. The latest VM is not fully compatible for J5 and it has some hidden issues in some functions like this. Thanks
