Item Naming & Back Navigation Issues

Item Naming & Back Navigation Issues was created by keep2000

Hi guys,

I have some feedback regarding Grid Pro.

I built a grid where every item is a sublayout.
When I look at the list of items, they are labeled as “JP Grid Pro Item 1”, “JP Grid Pro Item 2”, etc. In YOOtheme 5, multi-item elements allow you to assign custom names to items, and those names appear in the editor’s item list, which makes them much easier to identify.
Would something like that be possible here as well?

The other thing:
if an item’s type is set to sublayout and I add, for example, a Video element inside it, then go into edit the item, the top-left “back” arrow says “<- JP CE Grid Pro”.
But it doesn’t take me back to the current sublayout — it jumps back to the sublayout list.
So if I want to edit another element within the same sublayout, after exiting an element I have to enter the sublayout again every time.

It would be great if these could be improved.

We have added the name field to the grid pro item advanced settings to support custom naming and updated in the package file. The YOOtheme’s builder handles builder-fragment inside a content-items item editor only. When you edit something inside your item’s builder-fragment (sublayout field), YOOtheme opens the nested element editor, but it doesn’t keep the fragment root as the immediate “previous view” in the navigation stack. Thank you
