Issue after updating from 1.1.3 to 1.1.4 – Grid content lost temporarily

Hi there,First of all, congratulations on the sublayout feature — it’s a very important and useful addition, thank you for that!I’ve updated from version 1.1.3 to 1.1.4 on one of our sites, and I noticed the following:
When I open a previously working grid element on admin, its content appears completely empty. However, if I reload the page without saving, the content comes back.Do you know what might be causing this?
I hope we don’t have to rebuild all the grids from scratch. 😊Thanks a lot!

Hm, interesting. I caught something on another site.

As you can see, there is a Grid Pro element with a jDownloads source, and the download button is missing. Also, the document name is not clickable. When I open the source and do nothing else, the download button comes back. I had the very same issue when I listed articles from a category on the homepage (latest news), and after updating Grid Pro, the client asked me where the "Read More" button had gone. After I opened and saved it without making any changes, the button reappeared. It's also interesting that the Save button was active even though I hadn’t changed anything. :)

There are some sites where we use lots of Grid Pro elements, and I'm afraid to update. :)

Its quite hard to recreate the same scenario in the video so kindly share the site admin details of issue faced or element preset for troubleshooting. Thanks

Can you try this

1. Go to Builder and enter the JP CE Grid Pro element that is having problem
2. Also go into one of your item (might be juts one - the dynamic one) and then after this the Save button will appear
3. Save the element and test it again in frontend as usual.

Link should be back.

It does work, but there are some large sites with several built layouts, templates, and sublayouts containing lots of Grid Pro elements. Do I have to find and open all of them?

We have fixed the link button display issue with the new version package file by passing the default value to the new param added to the element item, now it works well. Also updated the package file with the fix so kindly download and install again. Thank you
