Terms of Service - JP Agent Tracking Bridge

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of JP Agent Tracking Bridge, including the WordPress and Joomla extensions and the related cloud-based connection, OAuth and agent-tool services (together, the “Service”).
The Service is provided by JPro Studio, part of Norin Media AB, Sweden (“JPro Studio”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By installing, connecting to or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.
1. Purpose of the Service
JP Agent Tracking Bridge helps website owners configure and verify website tracking through a compatible AI agent. The Service can connect a WordPress or Joomla website with Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager so that the user can inspect, discuss, approve, implement and verify tracking configurations.
The Service may assist with tracking interactions such as:
- Successful form submissions
- Email and telephone link clicks
- Call-to-action and other selected link interactions
- File and document downloads
- Selected page views and campaign-page interactions
- Supported ecommerce events, including WooCommerce events where available
The Service does not create, plan, purchase or manage advertising campaigns. It does not determine advertising budgets, audiences, geographical targeting, bidding strategies or campaign objectives. It is a technical bridge for configuring and verifying tracking.
2. Eligibility and authority
You may use the Service only if you:
- Are legally capable of entering into these Terms
- Own or are authorised to administer the relevant website
- Are authorised to access and modify the connected Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager resources
- Have authority to instruct an AI agent to perform the requested tracking work
You must not connect accounts, websites, containers or properties that you are not authorised to access or manage.
3. Google connection and OAuth permissions
Google access begins only when you choose “Connect Google” and complete Google’s OAuth consent process. The Service can access only the Google resources available to the authenticated user and only within the permissions granted through the OAuth consent screen.
The requested permissions may allow the Service to:
- Read Google Analytics accounts, properties, configuration and reporting data for inspection and verification
- Inspect Google Tag Manager accounts, containers, workspaces, tags, triggers and variables
- Create or update approved Google Tag Manager resources
- Create reviewable Google Tag Manager container versions
- Publish a container version after explicit user approval
Your use of Google services remains subject to the applicable Google terms and policies. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager are services provided by Google and are not controlled by JPro Studio.
4. AI-assisted actions and user approval
The Service provides controlled tools that a compatible AI agent may use to inspect and configure tracking. The AI agent acts on instructions provided by you. You remain responsible for reviewing the agent’s recommendations and confirming that proposed changes match your intended tracking setup.
Publishing a Google Tag Manager container version is a separate action and must only occur after your explicit approval. You should review the proposed changes before publication.
AI-generated recommendations may contain errors or may not fully reflect your business, legal or technical requirements. You must not rely on the Service as a substitute for your own professional judgement.
5. Temporary Agent Connection
Remote agent modification access is normally disabled. You can enable temporary access by starting a tagging session and can revoke that access by stopping the tagging session.
Stopping a tagging session prevents further remote modification through that temporary connection. It does not remove tracking rules that have already been configured, undo Google Tag Manager changes or automatically disconnect your Google account.
You are responsible for keeping temporary connection details confidential and for stopping the tagging session when the requested work is complete.
6. Data handling and privacy
Our handling of Google user data and other personal data is described in the JP Agent Tracking Bridge Privacy Policy. That policy forms part of these Terms.
The Service is designed to process Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager information only as needed to perform the inspection, configuration or verification requested by the user. It is not designed to retain copies of Analytics reports or Tag Manager content as an independent commercial database.
OAuth credentials required to maintain an active Google connection may be stored securely while the connection remains active. Temporary connection records and operational data may be removed automatically when they expire or are no longer required. Users can disconnect Google and request deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.
JPro Studio does not sell Google user data and does not use Google user data to train generalised artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
7. Third-party services and AI providers
The Service depends on third-party platforms, which may include Google, WordPress, Joomla, hosting providers and an AI agent or AI service selected by you. Your use of those services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.
JPro Studio does not control the availability, output or independent data practices of an AI provider selected by you. You are responsible for ensuring that your chosen AI environment is appropriate for your organisation and intended use.
8. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate instructions to the AI agent
- Reviewing proposed tracking changes before approving them
- Maintaining appropriate backups or exported versions of important Google Tag Manager configurations
- Testing changes and monitoring your tracking after publication
- Complying with privacy, cookie, consent, employment and marketing laws applicable to your website and organisation
- Ensuring that your consent-management solution is correctly configured
- Informing website visitors about tracking where required
- Protecting your CMS administrator account and temporary Agent Connection details
JP Agent Tracking Bridge is not a consent-management platform and does not determine whether your tracking configuration is legally permitted. You remain responsible for obtaining any consent required before analytics or marketing technologies are loaded or used.
9. Prohibited use
You must not use the Service to:
- Access or modify a website or Google resource without authorisation
- Bypass security, consent or access-control mechanisms
- Introduce malicious code or interfere with the Service or another user
- Collect or process data unlawfully
- Misrepresent your identity, permissions or relationship with a website owner
- Use the Service in violation of Google’s API policies or applicable law
10. Software licence and commercial access
The WordPress and Joomla extension files may include software distributed under the GNU General Public License (GPL) or other open-source licences. These Terms do not restrict any rights granted to you under an applicable open-source licence.
Purchase terms, subscription periods, updates, downloads and support eligibility are governed by the commercial terms presented by JPro Studio at the time of purchase. Open-source rights in distributed code do not automatically grant unrestricted access to hosted services, OAuth infrastructure, updates, support, trademarks or other JPro Studio services.
11. Availability and changes to the Service
We aim to keep the Service available and secure, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Availability may be affected by maintenance, security incidents, network failures, third-party API changes, service limits or changes made by Google, WordPress, Joomla or an AI provider.
We may update, limit, suspend or discontinue parts of the Service where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, compatibility, maintenance or product development. Where practical, we will provide reasonable notice of material changes that negatively affect users.
12. No guarantee of tracking results
The Service assists with technical configuration and verification, but we do not guarantee that every interaction will be recorded, that third-party platforms will process every event, or that tracking data will be complete or suitable for a particular business purpose.
Tracking can be affected by consent settings, browser restrictions, ad blockers, network failures, website changes, third-party scripts and changes to external APIs. A configuration reported as verified reflects the checks performed at that time and is not a guarantee of future operation.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JPro Studio and Norin Media AB will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of data, missed conversions, advertising losses or business interruption arising from use of or inability to use the Service.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law, including mandatory consumer protection rights where applicable.
15. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may stop temporary agent access, disconnect Google and uninstall the extension independently.
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address security risks, unlawful use, material breach of these Terms, abuse of the Service or requirements imposed by Google or another platform provider.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual-property, disclaimer, liability and governing-law provisions, will remain in effect.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, applicable law or platform requirements. The current version and effective date will be published on this page. Continued use of the Service after an updated version takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, subject to any additional consent required by law.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply in your country of residence. Disputes should first be raised with us so that the parties can attempt to resolve them in good faith.
